fashion design at the North West School of Design before starting work at Jose
de Canha Couture in January this year. Her creativity and need to help men and
women feel comfortable in what they wear as well as educating them in dressing
appropriately was the driving force behind her fashion designing endeavour.
To Derilise,
fashion is, “showing your inner beauty, elegance and your personality style.”
In the future, Derilise sees herself as one of the top designers and fashion brands
in South Africa. She plans on launching a range of denim garments accompanied
by other ready to wear garments.
Derilise’s
favourite quote of all time is by Audrey Hepburn:
